Skip-the-line Vatican Museums entry tickets

Fast-Track Entry for Vatican Museums

Inside the Vatican Museum

Skip-the-line Vatican Museums tickets start from €39 for adults and grant timed fast-track entry to all permanent galleries — the Sistine Chapel, Raphael Rooms, Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, Pio-Clementino Museum, and all other permanent collections. Since January 2024, all Vatican Museums entry is online-only — there is no walk-up ticket counter. Booking 2–3 weeks ahead is strongly recommended during peak season (April–October), when popular morning slots sell out weeks in advance.

The Vatican Museums welcome more than 6 million visitors a year, making advance ticket planning one of the most important steps in any Rome itinerary. A skip-the-line ticket gives you a confirmed timed entry slot — you join the dedicated priority lane on Viale Vaticano, bypassing any uncertainty about same-day availability, and head straight into the Museums at your reserved time.

Whether you want to stand beneath Michelangelo’s ceiling in the Sistine Chapel, trace the sweeping frescoes of the Raphael Rooms, or lose yourself in the Gallery of Maps’ 40 painted topographical panels, this ticket covers it all. For guided options, see our Vatican Museums guided tour page.
